Mother: [5 minutes later] Why your eyes still open?

Me: I cannot sleep lah. You lah, ask me to sleep back.

Mother&Me: LOL.

Seems like I keep updating about conversations with my mother. Hahahaha.

Oh, I get hungry easily these days. How?

My elder sister bought my mother a new handphone recently. And my mother is a complete alien when it comes to handphones. The other day, I taught my mother how to find contacts, and how to unlock the phone [the phone has auto-lock]. I also taught her how to add contacts but she was so confused, that I told her I’ll add contacts for her in future. I guess my mother is cute because…

Mother: Eh, people cannot call me you know.

Me: Why? You can call people, and people can call you what.

Mother:  Okay, you call me now. I show you. [I then called her phone]

Mother: Eh, how come can call ah.

Me: MAK, PEOPLE CAN STILL CALL YOU EVEN THOUGH YOUR HANDPHONE KEYPAD IS LOCKED. YA ALLAH! PEOPLE CANNOT CALL YOU ONLY WHEN YOUR PHONE IS OFF! AIYOOOOO!

Mother: Eh? Okay you off  my phone. Eh how to off arh. [still not satisfied that I'm right and she's wrong. haha]

Me: Ah, you just press this red button for a few seconds. Then the screen will be blank….[tries to call her phone, to prove that people cannot call her when her phone is off].  Now you show me how to on your phone. [She dont know how, and I had to do it for her again, hahaha]

Mother: That day, I asked your sister what if the phone battery finish already. What to do ar, (pitiful seh her tone! hahahaha). Then your auntie so mean say, “throw the phone away“.

HAHAHAHAHHA. Lucky my mother not gullible. If not, she will think that when the battery finish, must throw away. Like the normal AAA batteries. HAHAHA. My mother is so cute, right?

Anyway, I gave up calling Richard. So I called Yati. Yati also the same. Tell me about it man!!!!!!!!!!

I’m still waiting for Richard to call me. No, not my boyfriend.

No money, no fun.

Anyway, yesterday was CCA OpenHouse 2009. And after for so long, Daniel came down for NPCC. Hahah. Everything was alright, no major cock-ups surfaced. AAR maybe?

 Okay that’s all kiddos! Hope another Richard calls to give me good news.

Bapak: Nak gi beli cincin.(Buy ring, but I heard it as kucing – cat)

Me: Huh?! Kucing?! (Huh, cat?!)

Bapak: Beli 2 kucing. Dari Belgium. Satu $400. Lawa, bulu putih..(Buy 2 cats from Belgium. Each 400 bucks. Very pretty, white fur..)

My father ar. He sounded so real, I almost took it seriously. This is what happens, when you’re.. partially deaf.
